Peoples’ lives are complex; the longer they live, the more “chapters” are accumulated. I am primarily a musician, but I have other interests that I’d like to share. And from what I hear, that’s what blogs are for!
I’m still working on the format, but take a look around and click “Contact” if you’d like to get in touch.
BIO:
Just before taking my finals at Chicago’s American Conservatory of Music, I skipped class, and hit the road with six guys I met from a bulletin board post seeking a female singer. We formed the R&B pop fusion horn band, Aureus and toured the country for the next twelve years. After that, I toured with my husband, the guitar player and composer, Ken Berry, German Eurodance group Real McCoy and pop group Expose. I appeared as “The Heavenly Choir” on Barry Manilow’s number 1 CD, The Greatest Songs of the Fifties.
During a motherhood-inspired break, I teamed up with lyricist Daniel Joshua Rubin. Our songs explore longing, regret, and the need for transcendence. The resulting CD – my first solo effort – is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon.
My last name is pronounced NASH-us.
